The Planned Roof Restoration Process
Graves Roofing is an industry leader in this cost effective and reliable approach to dealing with roof deterioration. After completing a thermo graphic scan of your roof to identify areas of wet insulation that must be replaced. The Restoration process consists of five steps explained in detail below.

Step #1 Cleaning And Exposing Roof Mat Deficiencies:
The first step in the process is cleaning the roof surface and ballast removal. Graves has  a sophisticated Roof Vacuum & Pressure Washing System that offers our clients quick and efficient ballast removal. This amazing vacuum engineering machinery can remove gravel from a roof system from up to 500 feet, and dispenses it directly into a ground level waste container with ease, limited mess, and relatively no clean up time.

Step #2 Roof Mat Restoration:
Once the roof mat has been cleaned, exposed deficiencies such as blisters, fractures, and ridges are repaired. Top quality materials and workmanship are essential part of this phase of the restoration process and help to ensure that existing and potential problems area in the roof surface are repaired and eliminated.

Step #3 Flashing And Curb Detail Repair:

The rebuilding of damaged flashings is a fundamental component of the roof restoration process . Careful attention is given to rebuildinf the roof systems perimeter base flashings, gravel stops, curbing detail for mechanical equipment, and all other projections above the roof line.

Step #4 Roof Mat Restoration:
Once all the preparatory work has been completed the roof is then sealed with resaturant. The treatment of the entire roof surface with a cold-applied resaturant / coating provides renewed waterproofing protection to the roof.

Step #5 New Gravel Resurfacing:

The last stage in the restoration process is the application of new roofing gravel. This protects the roof mat from the sun's damaging ultraviolet rays and helps to extend the service life of the roof for many years to come.

This time proven method of roof restoration can extend the life of your roof by upwards of ten to fifteen years, and is substantial less expensive than complete roof replacement. With over twenty years experience in this type of planned restoration process Graves Roofing will strive to help you get the most out of your roofs life cycle.
